About Volunteer Dubois County!

Volunteer Dubois County is a volunteer center. Our mission is to connect volunteers with opportunities and help build the capacity of non-profit organizations.  Our services extend to Jasper, Huntingburg, Ferdinand, Dubois, Holland, and all the small towns in between.  You can think of us as a big “directional sign” that guides volunteers toward meaningful opportunities to make a difference.

Initial development of Volunteer Dubois County began in 2009 and since that time, the organization has had associations with such local institutions as TRI-CAP, Huntingburg Foundation, Inc. (now Dubois County Community Foundation), and Vincennes University Jasper Campus.

The Volunteer Dubois County website was completed at the end of 2011.

In May of 2012, Volunteer Dubois County became an independent, 501(c)3 non-profit organization and retains close ties with Vincennes University Jasper Campus.

Today, the volunteer center operates this website and works to inspire and mobilize volunteers of Dubois County.

Volunteer Dubois County is run entirely by volunteers.
